Try Tec properly before you commit.

One day on twins or sidemount with a long hose (and a stage if you're 18 or over), all within recreational limits. Carry on and it can count towards Tec 40.

Twin cylinders on an XDeep harness with fins, laid out on the grass ready to dive

Tec Basics bridges recreational and technical diving. You'll get used to twins or sidemount, a long hose for gas sharing and, if you're 18 or over, a stage cylinder, and find out whether Tec is for you.

If it is, it can count towards your Tec 40, as long as you use the same kit configuration. If it isn't, you leave with a card and sharper trim and buoyancy.

Tec Basics is optional. We'll decide together whether it's right for you once we've talked through your diving.
