I've had the privilege of knowing Scott for over 14 years, since I started diving at the age of 10, and I can say without a single doubt that he is one of the most incredible, kind, and dedicated dive instructors you will ever meet.
Scott's passion for teaching is unmatched. No matter your experience level, he is always patient, supportive, and truly willing to go above and beyond to help anyone succeed. He was an absolute pillar of support for me while I was completing my Divemaster and Tec Sidemount certifications. I feel incredibly lucky to have learnt from Scott, both in developing my own technical diving skills and through helping out on his specialty courses during my Divemaster training.
His 20 years of teaching experience really show, not just in his own skills but in his patience, encouragement and enthusiasm for helping others become better divers. One thing that really sets Scott apart is the time he takes to make sure his students understand not just how to do something, but why. His explanations draw on his experience and go well beyond course requirements. His courses are relaxed, engaging and genuinely good fun despite his often terrible jokes!
I'm looking forward to continuing to develop my diving skills and career under his guidance. He's an exceptionally talented instructor and a brilliant mentor and I look forward to many more dives ahead.

Following my recent completion of the Tec 40 course, Scott was a fantastic mentor, and I thoroughly enjoyed diving with him throughout the training. I owe my scuba career entirely to Scott. He has been my mentor from day one, guiding me through the best decision of my life. Scott was my instructor for my initial Open Water training, later became my Course Director through my Instructor Development Course (IDC), and stood by me all the way through my final Instructor Examination (IE). His time, dedication, deep knowledge, and years of experience shone through at every stage. During the IE, it was completely obvious that Scott had prepared me far better than the other candidates. I will be forever grateful for his mentorship.

Scott Roberts is honestly brilliant. I did my Instructor Development Course and a few specialty instructor courses with him, and he's just got this great balance of being funny and approachable while still really knowing his stuff. What stood out most is how person-centred he is as an instructor: he genuinely makes sure you understand things, and if it's not clicking, he'll find another way to explain it, every time, no judgment. Can't recommend him enough.

Scott is a fantastic PADI Course Director. During my Instructor Development Course, he went above and beyond to support me. He's friendly, thoughtful and always willing to help, whether that meant giving me a lift when I had no car to carry my scuba gear, so I could focus on finishing the course. I've since worked alongside him on several PADI courses, including specialties, and he's just as supportive and professional as a colleague. I'd recommend Scott to anyone looking to become a PADI instructor and diver.

I have worked with Scott since 2022. He taught me the majority of my IDC and has since worked with me on my Sidemount instructor certification, various other instructor level trainings and has also just been a dive buddy on occasion. I really enjoy working with him as alongside his breadth and depth of experience he also introduces the right amount of humour and seriousness into sessions to keep them interesting. I have already spoken to Scott, asking him to support me with my progression from Staff Instructor to Master Instructor and also a possible move into Tec diving. I would recommend him for all levels of dive training.

I did my Divemaster as well as my Open Water Instructor Course with Scott, with the result that I got to know him well. I can say he is kind, but he is more than that. Patient? An understatement in his case. Knowledgeable? Waaay beyond the theory. Sharing the little things that make diving so much easier, and enjoyable. Scott has a huge reputation, in the UK and in Australia. He deserves every bit of it. He is a legend, a mate, an inspiration, and a mentor.
